Who it’s for
You’re not starting from zero. You’re pivoting.
You look at a tech job description and your stomach drops. Maybe it’s engineering. Maybe it’s customer success, operations, support, or product. The titles change, but the feeling is the same: no computer science degree, no “real” tech experience, and a resume that reads like it belongs to someone else’s career.
So you do what most career changers do. You shrink your past to one line at the bottom of the page and hope a bootcamp or certificate speaks for itself. Then you walk into interviews sounding like a beginner with no context.
Your past isn’t the problem. The way you’re describing it is. This kit is built on one idea: you don’t hide where you came from, you translate it, so the hiring team sees a professional who is pivoting, not a blank slate.
What’s inside
Three pieces, one method.
The field guide
The translation method, step by step: how to find the wins in your old work and put them in language a tech lead respects.
The workbook
A worksheet for every step, so you finish with real material instead of good intentions.
The Resume Builder
A Claude skill built on the kit’s method. It interviews you about your background, translates it with you, and drafts a one-page resume you can edit in Word.
What you’ll walk away with
Finished material, not notes.
Your past wins translated into language a lead developer respects
A hybrid-functional resume that leads with your new skills and projects and still uses the maturity you bring
A career-change story that sounds intentional, not like a backup plan
A networking message that reads as curiosity, not a favor
A START story library ready for behavioral interviews
A 7-day action plan that turns all of it into momentum
About Jessi
I built the path I needed.
I had a career, but not one I could take with me. When my husband’s job moved us across the world, I had to leave mine behind, and it was suddenly clear that my career wasn’t portable. I didn’t want my future to depend on where we lived or whose job came first.
At 28, with no computer science background, I enrolled in a three-month software engineering bootcamp. I was the first person in my cohort to land an engineering job, and I’ve spent the ten years since in tech, first in operations and then as a software engineer.
Along the way, women kept asking me the same questions: how to write the resume, how to network without feeling like you’re asking for favors, how to talk about a past that doesn’t look like a tech career.
What I learned is that they weren’t short on potential. They were short on translation. Nobody shows you how to turn your old job, your projects, and your story into something a hiring team can see. That’s what Career, Engineered is for, and the Tech Thrive Framework behind it: Story, Fit, Success.

Questions
Before you buy
How do I receive the kit?
Checkout runs through Stripe. As soon as payment completes you land on a download page with every file, and Stripe emails you a receipt.
What is the Resume Builder?
It’s a Claude skill based on the kit’s method. It interviews you about your background, translates your experience step by step, and builds a one-page resume you can edit in Word.
Do I need to know how to use AI?
No. You answer questions in plain English, one at a time, like a conversation.
Will it make things up on my resume?
No. It’s designed to ask for evidence rather than fill gaps. You approve every line before it goes in the document.
Can I use the workbook without the Resume Builder?
Yes. The workbook stands on its own, with worksheets for every step. The Resume Builder is the fast lane.
What do I need to use the Resume Builder?
A free account at claude.ai. Upload the skill file from the kit, start a chat, and invoke it with a slash command.
Is this for engineers only?
No. The method works for any tech role: engineering, customer success, operations, support, product, and the roles in between.
